Lanckorona is a beautiful old castle village with a long history. The great Kazimierz was building a caste in the 14th century to keep control over possible intruders from the south.
The castle became a ruin but the village exists until today and is an oasis of rest. If you arrive in Lanckorona you breathe the fresh air and see distance valleys from the marketplace which is still intact with its wooden architecture.
To spend a few days here are relaxing for mind and body.
